The picturesque old town is lively and fascinating
Limone sul Garda is one of the oldest and best preserved towns on Lake Garda. Limone has always been known for its cultivation of citrus fruits, which, thanks to the lake breeze and its microclimate, have always been cultivated here. Magnificent citrus groves are located on protected terraces. The most famous, today owned by the municipality, is the Limonaia del Castel which is open to the public. The historic centre of Limone sul Garda, on the other hand, is ideal for pleasant walks through alleys, squares, traditional shops, restaurants where you can eat classic Gardesian dishes and old fishermen's houses directly on the lake.
