Limone is a place that never ceases to amaze. It’s a place where, while the hustle and bustle on the lake steals the spotlight, paths wind their way silently along exceptionally beautiful landscapes on the ridges rising to the west.
There are a number of easy walks, starting directly from the hotel and extending into the suspended time of the magnificent olive groves and historic lemon groves – such as the Limonaia del Castèl – scattered all around: peaceful interludes for a relaxing day on the lake.
On other days, after a hearty breakfast at the hotel, you can opt to climb a little higher along the Sentiero del Sole (Sun Trail) or the Comboni Promenade to enjoy the first horizons and panoramic views of the gulf. Or push on to the peaks of the mountains that shelter us – Monte Bestone, Cima Mughèra, Monte Preals, Monte Palaer – and shape the landscape between sinuous passes and valleys – Tremosine, Dalco and Val Pura – and incomparable ridges.
The challenge of reaching the most distant peaks – such as Punta Larici or Rocchetta – will tempt the more experienced, while the more intrepid will find their adventure in the incredible diversity of landscapes that abound in this region. For every initiative and excursion in Limone sul Garda, there is a circular route to start directly from our hotel, backpack on your shoulders.
